New WordPress theme: CreativeGrid Pro

CreativeGrid Pro is finally here and we’re sure you’ll love it. It’s simple on the surface yet there’s more to it than meets the eye. The reason is this WordPress portfolio theme is a responsive theme than adapts naturally to different screen sizes and devices. Browse through your portfolio on your laptop, your tablet or even your smartphone, it’s guaranteed to look fantastic!

CreativeGrid Pro has been designed to focus on your work and nothing else. The homepage features a filterable grid of your best work with an infinite load button to load more of your work. Simply choose in the options how many portfolio items to load initially and have the rest load in smoothly with a click of a button. Next, click on a thumbnail and have the full portfolio load in via Ajax on the same page. You can have a gallery of images or a video (self hosted or served from a video hosting site like YouTube).

We’ve made the design super simple and focused primarily on your work. At the top of each page is a ‘Hire Me’ link which links to the contact page. Why? Well we have designed this theme to appeal to freelancers and creative job seekers. Employers are usually hooked first by your work and if interested they’d want to contact you.

CreativeGrid Pro also has a creative blog, page templates, custom widgets and a truck load of beautiful shortcodes.

Add a portfolio item is so simple, even the elders managed it. Add a gallery of work and even a video and have it automatically add it to the front page portfolio feature page. A separate ‘Featured image’ option that’s built into the WordPress core allows you to add a thumbnail image that will show on the portfolio page. This won’t be included in the gallery so you can crop it perfectly if you wish so it looks great. If it’s not the exact dimensions the theme will automatically crop the image to fit – nice!
